For one day, snow was joyful again for those customers.
When Golfsmith was looking to find that joy that customers felt, they teamed up with Callaway and SCA Promotions. Looking to increase the sales of new Callaway drivers, they joined Phil Mickelson’s effort to win the 2010 Masters tournament. If he won, every customer that purchased an eligible Callaway driver would receive their money back. Over $1 million worth of drivers were sold, as their new owners eagerly awaited the tournament. Mickelson won the tournament, and his third green jacket, as his fans celebrated not only his win, but their incoming refund for their Callaway drivers.
