Tennessee Tech fans have an extra reason to cheer on their basketball team: during seven games this season, a fan will be chosen to come on the court to attempt three shots for their chance to win $5,000, sponsored by Pepsi. The fan will attempt a half court shot from three locations: center, ten feet left of center, and ten feet right of center. If the contestant makes two of the three shots, he or she is a winner!

The Portland Trail Blazers "Toyota Half-Court Shot" promotion invited fans to register online through the Trail Blazer's Web site.
